Vice President, Consumer and Communities Marketing
Elissa heads up the K–20 Consumer and Communities group at Pearson North America where the focus is on building direct engagement with Pearson’s learners, audiences and customers. She’s passionate about digital and consumer marketing, branding and community building.
Higher Education Communities
Allison is a Wisconsinite who aspires to be a true New Yorker — even after living in NYC for 7+ years! She loves new experiences and working with the interesting, naturally curious and passionate people at Pearson. She has worked in a variety of roles from Sales and Sales Management, to Strategic and Product Marketing, to Sales Systems and Software Training, and now leads the Student Relations team. If Allison won the lottery she’d travel more, learn more, cook more, golf more (and teach kids to golf — so many life lessons in golf!) and take and share more photos of all of those things.

An East Coaster now living in sunny Northern California, Andrea can be found on the soccer field (watching her two boys play), biking, kayaking or teaching yoga to little kiddos. Her career in Education includes a six year stint as Director of Marketing and Admissions at two colleges in the Boston area and teaching marketing strategy at both the undergraduate and graduate level. At Pearson, she is part of our Student Relations team to engage our Ambassadors and is most excited about driving our new "One Professor" campaign to honor the Educators who impact the lives of students both in and outside of the classroom. Once her kids get off to College (which is still a few years away), Andrea’s dream is to do a yoga retreat in Bali and travel to India to see the Taj Mahal.
Nina has lived in beautiful, (but cold!), New England all of her life and in Boston since attending college in 2001. While at Emerson College Nina studied marketing, public relations, writing and publishing and started her career at Pearson in 2011 supporting the CMO. She now works with the most energized and passionate people she knows—the Student Relations team—and is thrilled to combine her academic pursuits with Pearson's mission of helping students make more of their lives through learning. Nina enjoys buying and selling real estate—her apartment building was just voted by the BSA the “Most Beautiful New Building in Boston”—art, traveling to warm places, being creative, writing and her parent’s new puppy, Sonny.

When Kara is not dreaming of her return to the Island of Grenada where she and her husband lived for over a year, she can be found managing the energetic and passionate Pearson Students. Kara started her career in publishing with Pearson back in 2008 and is so excited about her new role with the Student Relations team. In her free time, Kara loves exploring the Northeast, video chatting with her favorite children's home in Grenada, and taking pilates reformer classes around her new home in Hoboken.
